The Welcome Centre for International Scholars at the University of Heidelberg pledges to use the personal data provided here exclusively for assisting and advising scholars and their families, and specifically for contacting them about the services of the Welcome Centre and the University of Heidelberg, for statistical analysis and for the international scholars’ portal, in which some of your personal data (data clearance is administered by each user individually) is made available to the restricted user group of the portal. The Welcome Centre will also share a limited amount of the personal data with the host institute at the University of Heidelberg for the purpose of confirmation. Your agreement to the collection and use of your personal data is required in order to register at the Welcome Centre for International Scholars. You can rescind your agreement at any time in full or in part at the Welcome Centre. Furthermore, according to paragraph 14 of the State of Baden-Württemberg Data Privacy Act, you have a right to information and reporting with regard to your personal data. Please submit any such requests in writing to the Welcome Centre for International Scholars.
